AX.NET release on April 7, 2010
First, we at ProISV would like to give a big thank you to our beta program partners,
who have helped us testing AX.NET and making suggestions to product improvements
as well. We have now completed the agile beta program cycle and are proud to announce
the commercial release of AX.NET.
The release takes place on April 7, 2010.
Two types of licenses are available in this release:
AX.NET Developer System License
This license is mandatory if you wish to use
AX.NET as a part of your commercial product. For instance, if you develop code (products)
using AX.NET and you wish to license this code (products) to your customers. The
Developer System License provides our sophisticated licensing system (see our website
for details) in order to protect your intellectual property. This effectively means
that you are in complete control of your own licensing and software products and
have no risk of distributing your code and to sustain annual licensing revenue streams.
The price is EUR 3.995,00 and allows unlimited users within your company so that
all of your developers can use the technology at the same flatrate price.
End-user price: EUR 3,995.00 AX.NET Client License
This license is a runtime license, which provisions
a number of people to simultaneously use AX.NET. For instance, if ten people are
accessing data and applications at the same time, then you must acquire ten AX.NET
user licenses. The Client License price is EUR 295 per user. This license also allows
an end-user to develop code using AX.NET, however, it does not allow this code to
be distributed (as a commercial product). The AX.NET Developer System License is
the only way to do this.
End-user price: EUR 295.00
